Guided tours at Kellerberg
The team of cave guides has made it their business to show our unique beer storage cellars to the public. In a one-hour guided tour we will give information on the history of origins as well as the historical development, the current situation including negative influences, and on the prospects and challenges that our cellar site faces. We will show several beer cellars and the small brewery of the “Kellerbergverein” (the cellar conservation society). The brew kettle is still heated by wood fire. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes since the stairs are partly in a poor condition. Our guides work on a voluntary basis – therefore, guided tours (in German or English) can be offered with prior arrangement only.
Please be aware that children under the age of 5 cannot join the tour for insurance reasons.
If you are interested in visiting our unique cellar site, please contact us.
Donations are always welcome.
The guided tours through the cellars are inevitably not barrier-free! Suitable footwear is recommended.
